Assalamualaikum w.b.t

Hey y’all! Long time no see kan? I’ve been meaning to write but haven’t got the time. Okay, quick update: I’ve already finished my Internship and right now I’m about to graduate. More stories on that later, insyaAllah.

Hokayh, so on Sunday (15/01/2012), I’ve attended this event called “Reflection” organized by Ammarahijabi at Blackbox, Publika Solaris Dutamas with my dearie friend Kak Sumayyah. Reflection is basically an event where we get to shop, meet famous amos bloggers, and more importantly donate our money for charity! How cool is that?! It’s started at 10am but since I literally live 4 minutes away (according to Google Maps) from Publika, so I came lepas zuhur.. heheh :p

I bought the exclusive tickets, so me and Kak Sumayyah were entitled to watch the Fashion Show by AMMARAHIJABI, OLDBLOSSOMBOX, YASALMA, PASTELINA, SHOPSPTNKSWTHRT, RINASALLEH COLLECTIONS , ABIYA MUSLIMAH, CALAQISYA & NILAM.

Truth be told, this is my first time attending invited event like this. Of course we've seen fashion shows at the Shopping Malls, but they are not the same. You know, meeting those well-known bloggers whom I silently stalked for quite some time :’) and boy, those people who came really did have fancy styles and a unique way how they put their clothes on. I was really shy standing next to them actually L Anyhoo, the good thing was, I am good at making the first conversation. So while I was queuing alone (Kak Sumayyah went shopping @ the booth) waiting to enter the fashion show room/hall/gallery (please choose one), I just turned my back and say salam to these 2 lovely girls; Fiza & Fatimah and we clicked right away! :D From that moment, we went everywhere together-gether.

Okay 'nuff said. Enjoy these photos yeah ;)

1) The Booth.

They have about 20 booths, but my apologies for not taking them sooner. After the fashion show, most of them have already wrap it up.

2) The Show.

I really enjoyed myself with the environment, the mood, the dresses, the models, the people and simply everything! Plus, I just watched Sex and the City movie the night before. Lagi laa excited terlebey sudah :p

So here are some of the collection I love the most. Of course there are many more, but too bad the pictures aren't so great.

Meet Fatimah, Fiza, ME and Kak Sumayyah

The host: Maria Elena

I'm not exaggerating, but MasyaAllah you looked so angelic/princessy with that outfit Maria!

Assalamualaikum..

Salam 1 Ramadhan 1432 Hijrah. Hari ni awal-awal niat nak cakap pasal puasa Ramadhan, tapi takpe lah tu kita cakap next week pon boleh :p Jadi hari ni saya nak cakap pasal Dream House. Kenapa? Sebab semalam saya, mak n adik pergi ke BN Youth HOPE – Home Ownership Programme Expo di PWTC.

"The objective is to assist Malaysians to buy affordable properties given the general high purchase prices of Malaysian property, especially in Kuala Lumpur. The scheme hopes to encourage developers to build affordable houses to improve the quality of life of Malaysians and to make the country a developed nation.”

It was a very good expo untuk beri peluang pada anak2 muda beli rumah.. Banyak house developers ada; Sime Darby, SPNB, Mah Sing Group, S P Setia Bhd Group and banyak lagi la. By the way tema expo ni sangat menusuk kalbu: “My First Home”

Mak & Baby

Cantik!

Siapa yang tak ada rumah idaman, angkat tangan? Mesti semua orang ada. Masing-masing ada taste sendiri. Nak rumah banglo, teres, penthouse, village house la, nak design macam castle sindarela la and whatsoever kan kan?

3 Tingkat?

4 Tingkat?

Kondominium?
(Notice the Block names: A - Alia, B - Boheme, C - Celeste, D - Divina)

Before I proceed, I would like to make a disclaimer. Ini cuma angan2 & fantasi, so I might get overboard hahaha. Bear with me pls :')

To begin with, my dream home would be a 2-storey corner lot landed house. Mesti landed, taknak apartment, kondo hatta penthouse sekali pun. Reason being? Sebab nanti leh buat taman ikan or landskap kat luar rumah.. hehe bestnye.. Oh and leh parking sesuka hati tanpa perlu dapat notis "sila alihkan kenderaan anda jika tidak mahu kenderaan anda dikunci". Anyway, tak banglo pon tak ape. Kalau dapat banglo Alhamdulillah =)

I like English style house. Ala yang design rumah petak-petak & banyak dinding cermin sampai orang leh intai tu la. Hurm tapi macam tak secure je leh main cak-cak ngan orang luar *scary*. Frankly speaking, saya tak reti design interior. So instead of tengok catalogue and beli perabot satu-satu, saya nak panggil ID IKEA datang rumah hahaha. Maple wood floor (blaja dari 3 Idiots) itu satu kemestian. Well, my dream home does not mean the house itself only. Apalah gunanya rumahku syurgaku tapi neighborhood macam hell? Nauzubillah. *Kedai melayu takpe :p

Mungkin bagi sesetengah orang perempuan, beli rumah bukanlah satu keperluan. Kahwin nanti, suami yang cari rumah. Yes, itu memang tanggungjawab seorang suami. How about “what if’s?”

  • What if husband tak mampu nak beli rumah?
  • What if by the time nak tunggu husband peluang tu makin lama makin tipis?
  • What if something happens?
  • What if kita tak kawin?

See, kita ni cik jah, kena pk sume tu.. Cuba la kalau anak kita sok2 nak buat pinjaman ke, kita nak jadi penjamin ke, kan best kalau kat line "Aset" tu ade tulis rumah teres 2 tingkat :’) *contoh semata2.. Lagipun, kalau murah rezeki dapat duduk rumah suami, rumah kita tu boleh disewakan kan? Dapat income lebih yeay!

I'm like one step further to own a dream house kiranye hik3 sebab saya bagi nama kat diorang2 tu J

* WINNER *
